The Black Girls Don’t Get Love Mini-Podcasting & Producing Lab offers girls of color and allies, ages 10-18, a chance to learn video podcasting skills from industry professionals. Participants will explore storytelling, marketing, production, and post-production while taking on various roles to create a podcast that addresses important topics related to Black girlhood, womanhood, self-esteem, beauty standards, Black hair, and media representation. The program culminates in a Podcast Release Party where students can showcase their work and engage in discussions about their experiences.
